Cellframe Partners with Router Protocol
We’re pleased to announce a partnership with Router protocol, a cross-chain liquidity primitive that aims to seamlessly provide bridging infrastructure between various current and emerging layer-1 and layer-2 blockchain solutions.
Scalability is one of the most pressing issues the crypto industry currently has to deal with. With congestion and high fees slowly becoming almost synonymous with decentralized finance, many protocols have decided to take matters into their own hands and provide solutions to this growing problem.
However, with many protocols now striving for compatibility, the question of how they will achieve it arises.
This is where Router steps in. Their mission is to work around the scalability trilemma — trade trade off between decentralization, scalability and security. While there are multiple solutions in the works from the usual and customary large platforms and L2 proponents, Router is aimed at providing a solution that will seamlessly port liquidity between these isolated islands and essentially build bridges between them.
We have been exploring multi-chain bridging functionalities and secure and scalable cross-chain transfers, and we believe that Router will be able to leverage our smart contract functionality to provide their users with a better way to interact with liquidity locked on diverse DeFi protocols.
We look forward to working with the Router Protocol further, to explore and collaborate on more possible synergies.

About Cellframe
Cellframe is a quantum-resistant layer-1 network focused on facilitating secure and scalable cross-chain transfers. Cellframe aims to create an infrastructure for decentralized low-level services through its multichain nature. It is quantum-safe — it uses post-quantum encryption by default. Cellframe is built from scratch with plain C, which results in more efficient utilization of CPU and memory.
